ISA2000 - This is a PC plug-in spectrometer on a card. It has the same detector and optical range configurations as the EPP2000 shown above. This is a great choice for OEM and application integrators. Detachable optics allow flexibility for field maintenance and logistics.

Up to 8 units can be ordered with our SSRack system. Up to 4 can be ordered with our SSRack portable box. All spectrometers operate in parallel. Each spectrometer channel has its own digitizer electronics and spectral scan memory for 2050 wavelengths.

SSBox-4 is a 4-channel spectrometer system in portable box. SSRack-8 is an 8-channel spectrometer system in a rack mount box.

Up to 8 units can be attached on a single cable in any combination of optical configurations.
All units can request scans at the same time. Each unit has its own AD converter and 2050 wavelength scan memory. This allows development of "synoptic" multi-channel applications. Detectors are soldered onto small circuit cards which are then mounted to the spectrographs using locking hardware (see pictures below). This reduces the risk of alignment problems caused by vibration in shipping or field portable operations and eliminates thermal instability for the detector mount.

DESCRIPTION:
PERFORMANCE:
The ISA2000 is a miniature fiber optic spectrometer
designed for installation in a PC type computer.
This cost effective instrument is a fully functional
spectrometer that is mounted on an ISA ¡°plug-in¡±
card for use in acquiring spectral data over the spectral
ranges from 200 nm through 1,600 nm.
The ISA2000 optical design is identical to that of
the StellarNet EPP2000 spectrometers, assuring users
of precise optics with highly effective electronic
circuitry. The ISA2000 has selectable integration times
for increased sensitivity and also includes temperature
compensation for detector count stabilization.
The integral analog to digital converter effectively
matches the spectral input to the data output, for
optimum results.
The ISA2000 may be used for numerous spectral
acqusition tasks. Transmittance, reflectance, absorbance,
and color measurements may be readily made.
A single ISA2000 may be installed in a computer as
an analytical tool for such spectral measurements.
Several ISA2000 spectrometers may be linked together
to provide simultaneous spectral measurements
for process monitoring, for multiple quality
assurance determinations, and for other spectral
measuring tasks.
The ISA2000 is a cost effective investment for most all spectral
measurements. High resolution and accuracy provide excellent
performance as shown by representative spectra (see sheet on typical
spectra). Its dynamic response, stability, and superior S/N ratio
make the ISA2000¡¯s performance among the highest in its class. The
result is reliable and meaningful spectral data acquisition.
